Relocation Plans

We partner with our clients to develop comprehensive Relocation Plans which are compliant with the Uniform Relocation and Real Property Acquisition (URA) Policies Act of 1970, and applicable Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) regulations. 

Relocation Assistance

Granite City Partners will facilitate the smooth and timely relocation of residents and tenants for urban renewal and infrastructure projects.  Our procedures for Pre-Relocation Services include relocation notices, relocation surveys and assessments, alternative screening, identification and set-up of relocation units, tracking of relocation expenses versus budgets.  We assist with the preparation of legal use and occupancy agreements, and post-relocation follow-up.

Real Estate Advising

As a Massachusetts’ Real Estate Appraisal firm with a client list 50 years in the making, Granite City Partners maintains strong working relationships with many Norfolk County municipalities, several national and local lending institutions, and local real estate owners and developers.  We provide objective, impartial and unbiased opinions about the value and reuse of real estate to those who own it, manage it, acquire it, or lend money for it. Our team has deep experience in establishing fair market value for property set for competitive offers and fair sales, as well as knowledge and proficiency for property to be acquired via eminent domain for governmental actions on public infrastructure or urban renewal. 

Real Estate Appraisal Services

Appraisals are completed in accordance with The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), as adopted by Congress in 1989, and may use the Market Value Approach, Salvage Value Approach, Replacement Cost New Approach, amongst others for GSE Lending Appraisal Reporting.  We are currently seeking our FHA approval as Nationally Certified Real Estate Appraiser to assist on federally funded governmental projects in Massachusetts.
