We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Civil Engineering or Construction Management Intern to assist our team in various engineering and construction oversight tasks. This is a great opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in a fast-paced consulting environment. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers on both office-based and field tasks.
The skills and experience required for this position include:
Assist in the preparation of engineering designs, calculations, and drawings.
Support field work and inspections for ongoing projects, observe construction processes, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Help in the analysis of data and research on civil engineering standards and best practices.
Collaborate with project teams to prepare reports and presentations for clients.
Use software Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite
Participate in client meetings.
Support the team with project documentation and project management tasks.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Familiarity with civil engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS or similar tools.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
Knowledge of engineering principles and practices is a plus.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
